News: Bentley Motors Expands Into South America.

Boston, MA., 2010 – Bentley Motors, Inc. has announced an expansion of its retail network into the South American market with the showroom grand opening of Bentley Sao Paulo in Brazil. This new retailer, to be owned and operated by British Cars do Brasil Ltda, will be the 48th Bentley location in the Americas’ region.

The Bentley Americas’ retail network has expanded significantly in the past several years, rising from a network of 41 locations in 2004. Today’s announcement is a critical step in the company’s push into South America, a market viewed as having key growth potential and strategic fit with Bentley’s commitment to make all of its products compatible with renewable fuels by 2012.

“We are pleased to welcome British Cars do Brasil Ltda to the Bentley family,” said Christophe Georges, President & Chief Operating Officer, Bentley Motors, Inc. “This is truly a momentous occasion for the Bentley brand as this fine showroom demonstrates not only our continued expansion in the Americas’ region, but also our acknowledgment of Sao Paulo as a major center of commerce, luxury and culture in South America.”

Joseph Tutundjian has been named Retailer Principal for Bentley Sao Paulo and he, along with his partners Antonio João Abdalla Filho, Carlos Roberto Franco De Mattos Junior and Mauro Saddi, will be the ambassadors of the Bentley brand in Sao Paulo.
“My partners and I are truly honored to represent the Bentley brand here in Sao Paulo,” said Tutundjian. “We have long appreciated the craftsmanship, quality and performance that Bentley automobiles have to offer and we are excited about their market potential here in South America.”

The Bentley Sao Paulo showroom is now open for business located on Rua Colombia while the service facility is a few kilometers away on Avenida Ulysses Reis de Mattos.

Bentley Motors, Inc. is the Sales, Marketing and distribution channel for Bentley brand products sold in the Americas’ region. Headquartered in Boston, MA., Bentley Motors, Inc. has approximately 35 employees and 48 dealerships throughout the region. Motor vehicles such as the Bentley Arnage, Brooklands, Azure convertible, Continental GT and GT Speed coupe, Continental Flying Spur and Flying Spur Speed sedan, Continental GTC and GTC Speed convertible and the Continental Supersports accounted for more than 1,450 sales in 2009. The all-new Mulsanne flagship sedan and Supersports Convertible will debut later in 2010 to further strengthen the Bentley product portfolio.

Byron Burke

Byron Burke

Byron E. Burke has worked in the music and consulting industry for over twenty – seven years. He began at the age of 13 as a gifted trumpet player and dj on the Westside of Chicago, as well as a chorographer and member of the Shy Boy’s dance group. By the age of 16, he was recognized as leading dj in Chicago and signed his first record deal with DJ International Records under the group named “B Rude, Inc”.

By the age of 19, Byron became the VP for Burstinglaw Music Productions in Chicago, Illinois.  His unique ability to compose, produce and critique songs, stage performances, including marketing & promotion strategies, has made him a pioneer in the music industry.

Byron was the creative force behind the legendary house music band from Chicago called Ten City.  He co-wrote, produced and remixed songs on the “Foundation” and “State Of Mind” albums for Atlantic Records, including “No House Big Enough” for East/West Records, and “That Was Then, This Is Now” for Columbia Records.

These albums spawned ten Top 20 Billboard Magazine dance songs, five Top 10 Billboard Magazine Sales Chart Singles, ten Top United Kingdom Pop Chart Singles, including a Gold Plaque from South Africa and a Silver Plaque from the United Kingdom.

After the success of Ten City, Byron relocated from Oak Park, IL to Würzburg, Germany in 1995 to embark on a new journey that will begin to transform his life.

He served as the Senior VP of International DJ Relations for a dj booking agency called Caus-N-ffct. Byron played a pivotal roll in developing the first 8 city Marlboro DJ Academy Tour in 1996 that featured Chicago House and New York Garage music.

The tour featured several of the top American DJ’s & Recording Artist such as Masters At Work, Farley “Jack Master Funk”, Tyree Cooper, Ralphi Rosario, The Murk Boys, Benji CanderlarioDanny TenagliaArmand Van HeldenBarbara TuckerKim EnglishRoger Sanchez. In July 1997, Byron participated in the Love Parade that hosted 1.2 million dance music fans in Berlin as a MC on the Club Dockland parade truck.

In September 1997, Byron relocated from Würzburg to New York City. For the next fifteen months, he began researching and studying several major record and film companies to expand his knowledge about these industries.

In January 1999, Byron decided to further his education by commuting from New York to San Francisco to attend a Continuing Studies Program at Stanford University - Palo Alto, CA. This was a special 10 week - Startup: “From Idea to IPO” course that held classes every Monday evening from 7 – 9 pm under the direction of Doug Kelly, MD of Alloy Ventures - Palo Alto, CA.

Today, Mr. Burke leads BB Media Global Group, leveraging his experience to help clients get closer to the new concepts and ideas that are helping businesses drive new customers and see longer term growth and revenue.

Angela Myrick
Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer

Angela has over 20 years experience organizing and developing businesses, of which 10 years have been dedicated to the accounting/finance area, in which she has manage accounts in excess of $12 million dollars .

In her most recent role as Consultant for the Salaried Professional Services (SPs) for Robert Half International, Angela has restructured accounting departments for Non-for –Profit Organizations.   She has also applied her skills of Organizational Development to help implement policies that allow for more functionality within organizations.

Some of Angela’s recent projects have included; accounting software conversions, inventory auditing, Point of Sale software implementation, Policy administration, training documentation, and performing full cycle accounting.  Angela has helped organize accounting departments to allow for functionality, reducing cost by analyzing duplicate positions and applying GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).   In addition to her most recent role, Angela has held positions of Finance Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager and Controller throughout her career.  She is an experienced Manager and brings a vast amount of knowledge to BB Media Global.

Angela holds an MBA in Training and Organizational Development from Roosevelt University and a B.S. in Accounting from Governors State University.
